Man in Telanganas Mulugu Kills Father in Law After Separation from Wife

MULUGU: Nagapet police have initiated a manhunt for a suspect who fatally attacked his father-in-law amid family disputes in Balannagudem village, Mulugu district, late on Sunday. The victim has been identified as G. Narsaiah, a local farmer.
According to the police, the accused, Rama Krishna, had been married to Narsaiah's second daughter, Swapna, for ten years. However, the couple experienced marital issues, leading Swapna to return to her parents' home four years ago.
On Sunday evening, while villagers were gathered at the Muthyalamma Devi temple for Sravana Masam rituals, Rama Krishna saw Swapna among the attendees. In a fit of rage, he attacked both Narsaiah and Narsamma with a log. Narsaiah was struck on the head, lost consciousness, and was rushed to Mulugu Government Area Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Mangapet sub-inspector TVR Suri reported that a case has been filed under Sections 103(1) and 109 of the BNS. The body has been sent for a postmortem examination. A manhunt is underway for Rama Krishna, who fled the scene after the incident.
