Joe Biden opts for shorter stairs on Air Force One

Amid concerns about his health for reelection, 80-year-old President Joe Biden now primarily uses Air Force One's shorter, retractable stairs for boarding after stumbling on the taller steps multiple times. The decision is deliberate, aimed at ensuring easier travel and reducing the risk of further falls. While he still chooses the taller staircase for arrivals to make a grand entrance, he consistently opts for the shorter stairs when boarding, especially since his stumble over a sandbag last month. The initial challenge occurred just two months into his term in March 2021 during a trip to Atlanta, Georgia.
