IRCTC Tatkal Ticket Booking: Aadhar Mandatory, New Time Announced!

IRCTC has introduced new rules for Tatkal ticket booking. From now on, passengers booking Tatkal tickets must provide their Aadhaar card. This rule has been implemented to prevent fake ticket bookings.

Earlier, strict rules were in place for Tatkal ticket cancellation, but Indian Railways has made key changes in Tatkal ticket booking rules for 2025. Passengers must now follow these new guidelines while booking their train tickets.

Tatkal Ticket Booking Time Changed!
Previously, Tatkal booking started at 10:00 AM, but now it will begin at 11:00 AM. Passengers should take note of this change and plan their bookings accordingly.

Separate Quotas for AC & Non-AC Coaches
IRCTC has introduced separate quotas for AC and Non-AC coaches in Tatkal ticket booking. With these new rules, passengers will have a better chance of securing their preferred seats.

These updates aim to bring more transparency & convenience to passengers, according to IRCTC.
