Virat Kohli Breaks into Top Five in ICC ODI Rankings
Kohli’s Century Propels Him to Fifth Place
India’s batting icon Virat Kohli has climbed back into the top five of the ICC Men's ODI Batting Rankings after a match-winning century against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. His 51st ODI century was instrumental in India's commanding win over their arch-rivals in Dubai. This performance saw Kohli rise one place to reclaim the fifth position in the latest rankings.
With this, India now has three players in the top five, with opener Shubman Gill continuing as the No. 1 ODI batter and captain Rohit Sharma securing the third spot. Gill has extended his lead over Pakistan’s Babar Azam, who remains second despite struggling for form in the tournament.
