As of February 12, 2025, "Ghaati" is an upcoming Telugu-language action crime drama directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, featuring Anushka Shetty in the lead role. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on April 18, 2025, in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. 

The narrative centers on a victim who transforms into a criminal and eventually becomes a legend. Anushka Shetty portrays a fierce character, showcasing her evolution into a criminal mastermind within the cannabis trade. 

The supporting cast includes Vikram Prabhu, making his Telugu debut as Desi Raju. The film is produced by Yeduguru Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi under First Frame Entertainments, with presentation by UV Creations. 

Promotional materials, including a powerful first-look poster and a 47-second glimpse, have been released, featuring Anushka Shetty in an intense avatar. The film marks the second collaboration between Anushka Shetty and director Krish Jagarlamudi, following their 2010 film "Vedam."
