In Kamareddy, a gang of four armed with iron implements vandalized an SBI ATM center in Bichkunda village, Mandal Headquarters, stealing an ATM machine containing Rs 3.95 lakhs. The incident occurred between 3 am and 3.30 am on Tuesday, triggering an alarm that alerted the bank manager, who promptly notified the police. However, the gang had fled the scene by the time law enforcement arrived.
The DSP of Banswada, along with the Circle Inspector (CI) of Bichkunda Police and clues teams, visited the site. Located 30 km from the Karnataka and Maharashtra borders, the ATM center is believed to have been targeted by an interstate gang.
