Good news for Vande Bharat train commuters. Sleeper coaches are also going to be added to the high-speed Vande Bharat train. It is known that Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav himself announced this. It is noteworthy that these trains cover a distance of more than 400 km in just 5 hours. If sleeper coaches are added to the Vande Bharat trains which currently have AC chair car and executive chair car, the revenue of the railway will increase further and the passengers will be able to reach their destinations in less time.
Meanwhile, Indian Railways has recently conducted a survey to install sleeper coaches in Vande Bharat trains. It has been shown that the availability of sleeper coaches will provide more comfort to passengers traveling on long routes. It is clear that if these sleeper coach trains are run on the routes where the number of passengers is high, the wealth of the railway will also increase. It seems that the Railway Department is preparing plans accordingly.
At present trains are being manufactured in Maharashtra, Haryana, Rae Bareli and Chennai. After the success of the Vande Bharat Express trains in India, the Modi government is planning to run a mini version of the semi-high-speed trains soon. There will be only eight coaches. It is known that 16-coach Vande Bharat Express trains are currently running between major cities. They cover the distance between the respective cities in about 6-7 hours travel time. Now, the Central Railway Department is gearing up to run these mini version trains between cities like Amritsar-Jammu, Kanpur-Jhansi, Nagpur-Pune in these small sectors to reduce the passenger load.

వందే భారత్ రైలులో ప్రయాణించేవారికి శుభవార్త. అత్యంత వేగంతో నడిచే వందేభారత్ రైలుకు స్లీపర్ కోచ్‌లను కూడా జోడించబోతున్నారు. ఈ విషయాన్ని స్వయంగా రైల్వేమంత్రి అశ్వనీ వైష్ణవ్ ప్రకటించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. 400 కిమీ కంటే ఎక్కువ దూరాన్ని ఈ రైళ్లు కేవలం 5 గంటలలో చేరుకుంటున్న విషయం విదితమే. ప్రస్తుతం ఏసీ చైర్ కారు, ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ చైర్ కారు ఉన్న వందేభారత్ రైళ్లలో స్లీపర్ కోచ్‌లు కూడా తోడైతే రైల్వే ఆదాయం మరింతగా పెరగడంతో పాటు ప్రయాణీకులు తక్కువ సమయంలోనే తమ గమ్యస్థానాలకు చేర్చుకోవచ్చు.
ఇదిలా ఉంటే.. భారతీయ రైల్వే వందే భారత్ రైలులో స్లీపర్ కోచ్‌లను అమర్చేందుకు ఇటీవల ఒక సర్వేను నిర్వహించింది. ఇందులో స్లీపర్ కోచ్‌లు అందుబాటులోకి వస్తే సుదీర్ఘ మార్గాల్లో ప్రయాణించే ప్రయాణీకులకు మరిన్ని సౌకర్యాలను అందించగలదని తేలింది. ప్రయాణీకుల సంఖ్య ఎక్కువగా ఉన్న రూట్లలలో ఈ స్లీపర్ కోచ్ రైళ్లను నడిపితే రైల్వే సంపద కూడా పెరుగుతుందని స్పష్టమైంది. అందుకు తగ్గట్టుగానే రైల్వేశాఖ ప్రణాళికలు సిద్దం చేస్తున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
ప్రస్తుతం మహారాష్ట్ర, హర్యానా, రాయ్ బరేలీ, చెన్నైలలో రైళ్ల తయారీ జరుగుతోంది. భారతదేశంలో వందేభారత్ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ రైళ్లు విజయవంతం అయిన తర్వాత, మోదీ ప్రభుత్వం త్వరలోనే సెమీ-హై-స్పీడ్ రైళ్ల మినీ వెర్షన్‌ను నడపాలని రైల్వేశాఖ యోచిస్తోంది. ఇందులో కేవలం ఎనిమిది కోచ్‌లు మాత్రమే ఉండనున్నాయి. ఇక 16-కోచ్‌ల వందే భారత్ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్ రైళ్లు ప్రస్తుతం ప్రధాన నగరాల మధ్య నడుస్తున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఇవి సుమారు 6-7 గంటల ప్రయాణ సమయంలో ఆయా నగరాల మధ్య దూరాన్ని కవర్ చేస్తున్నాయి. ఇప్పుడు వీటి మినీ వెర్షన్ రైళ్లు అమృత్‌సర్-జమ్మూ, కాన్పూర్-ఝాన్సీ, నాగ్‌పూర్-పుణె వంటి నగరాల మధ్య ప్రయాణీకుల భారాన్ని తగ్గించేందుకు ఈ చిన్న సెక్టార్‌లలో నడపాలని కేంద్ర రైల్వేశాఖ సన్నద్ధం అవుతోంది.
