Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud inaugurates a cafe operated by specially-abled staff within the Supreme Court premises

Chief Justice of India (CJI) D.Y. Chandrachud inaugurated a 'Mitti Cafe' on the premises of the Supreme Court, managed by specially-abled staff. The inauguration, attended by other judges, aimed to garner support for the Mitti Cafe. The cafe is part of the Mitti initiative, a social foundation with 35 cafes managed by adults with special needs. The NGO focuses on fostering economic independence and dignity for individuals with physical, intellectual, and psychiatric disabilities, as well as those from other vulnerable communities. The initiative has served over 10 million meals.
