It is known that the Hyderabad CCS police remanded the three accused in October last year on information that Zaheed's group was conspiring to carry out explosions and terror attacks in the crowded areas of Hyderabad.
A preliminary investigation by the police has revealed that funds and ammunition were procured from Pakistan in the form of hawala for terrorist attacks in Hyderabad. In view of the seriousness of the case, the NIA has recently entered the field.
