The Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada will host the three-day Sakambari festival starting from July 19th

The temple will also host Varahi Navaratri celebrations starting from July 6th.
The Sri Durga Malleswara Swamayvarla Devasthanam will organize the Sakambari Devi festival from July 19th (Ashada suddha Trayodasi) to July 21st (Ashada suddha pournami). Additionally, the temple authorities will conduct Varahi Navaratri from July 6th to 15th, marking the first-time celebration of this event at Kanaka Durga temple. 
Executive Officer K.S. Rama Rao, speaking at a press conference, announced that rituals including Chandi parayana, Rudra parayana, japas, homams, and more will be performed during Varahi Navaratri. He clarified that while the presiding deity will be adorned as usual, there will be no special alankaram.
For the Sakambari festival, numerous voluntary organizations have pledged donations of vegetables and fruits, which will be used to decorate the temple and the deity during the three-day event. Rituals will commence with punyahvachana on July 19th and culminate with poornahuti on July 21st. Various ceremonies such as Saptasathi parayana, maha vidya parayana homam, and santhi poushtika homam are scheduled.
Mr. Rama Rao also mentioned that the Sri Mahankali Jatara Bonala Utsavalu Ummadi Devalayala Uregimpu Committee from Hyderabad will present 'Ashadha sare' to the presiding deity on July 14th. Additionally, temple priests, staff, and others will offer the Ashada sare to the deity. On July 26th, the Kanaka Durga temple will present silk robes to the Bhagya Nagar Sri Mahankali Ammavari Ummadi devalayala Utsavams.
During the announcement, Kanaka Durga temple's Sthanacharya Vishnubotla Sivaprasada Sarma, along with vaidic committee members Srinivasa Sastry and Badrinath Babu, were also present.
