Lakshmi Manchu shared about receiving support from Ram Charan when she first relocated to Mumbai as well as being part of an actors' group on WhatsApp

Lakshmi Manchu, a notable actress in the Telugu film industry and daughter of veteran actor Mohan Babu, recently shared insights about her career journey and friendships within the industry. She highlighted how her relationships with fellow actors Ram Charan and Rana Daggubati provided crucial support when she moved to Mumbai.
During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Lakshmi Manchu revealed that during her initial days in Mumbai, she stayed at the house of her best friend Rakul Preet Singh.
Rakul Preet Singh had always encouraged Lakshmi Manchu to make the move to Mumbai. Additionally, Lakshmi had a conversation with Rana Daggubati, who advised her that staying in Hyderabad indefinitely was not conducive to her career growth.
When Lakshmi first moved to Mumbai, she encountered housing challenges. She shared how Ram Charan came to her rescue by offering his house for her to stay in. Lakshmi mentioned, "At that time, Ram Charan helped me. I didn't tell anyone because if people knew I was staying at his house, they might not offer me work. I also asked Charan to keep it confidential."
Despite feeling out of place in such a beautiful home, Ram Charan reassured Lakshmi that she should feel comfortable using it. He emphasized the practicality of living in the space, ensuring that utilities were properly maintained and functional for her needs.
Additionally, Lakshmi disclosed that she is part of a large WhatsApp group comprising 142 actors, including prominent names like Ram Charan, Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun, and others. This group serves as a platform for actors to support each other by promoting their films and projects. Lakshmi explained, They’re all actors. So, what we do is, when somebody has a movie, somebody has a teaser, somebody has a trailer, they send it to the group. It’s understood that we all have to post it, give a shoutout. That’s why we created this group, saying, 'Enough of this animosity.
