The minimum age for joining SHGs will be lowered from 18 to 15 years. The government plans to make one crore women lakhpatis.
A new tourism policy was also approved, under which 27 special tourism zones will be developed, aiming to attract Rs 15,000 crore in investments over the next five years. This is expected to generate 3 lakh jobs in the tourism sector.
