Adding fuel to the rumors, Kartik’s mother, Mala Tiwari, made a statement during the recently held IIFA Awards 2025 that caught a lot of attention.

A viral clip circulating on the internet shows Kartik’s mother being asked about her future daughter-in-law's expectations. In response, Mala Tiwari revealed that she wants a good doctor as her son’s wife.

She stated, “The family’s demand is a very good doctor.” Netizens have taken this statement as a hint towards her son's rumored relationship with Sreeleela.

For those unaware, Sreeleela is currently studying to become a doctor.

The latest comment from Kartik's mother has sparked further speculation about Kartik and Sreeleela being in a relationship.

This film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series banner. While the movie’s name has not been announced yet, there are rumors that it might be an addition to the popular "Aashiqui" franchise, potentially titled "Aashiqui 3."
