Bapatla Superintendent of Police conducts final rites for police dog

GUNTUR: In a touching gesture, Bapatla Superintendent of Police (SP) Tushar Dudi performed the last rites of Foxy, a police tracker dog, who passed away due to illness on Wednesday.
Foxy, who completed training at the APSP Sixth Battalion in 2020, had been instrumental in solving several high-profile cases, including theft, murder, and rape across Mangalagiri, Guntur, and Bapatla. The dog had earned multiple certificates of appreciation and even a gold medal for its service.
After four days of illness, Foxy passed away on Tuesday night. SP Dudi, along with Assistant SP TP Vittaleswar and Deputy SP Chandra Mohan, paid floral tributes and conducted the final rites for the loyal canine.
