Temple Chariot Set Ablaze by Vandals in Anantapur Andhra Pradesh

ANANTAPUR: In a shocking incident, unidentified vandals set fire to a temple chariot in Hanakanahal village, Kanekal Mandal, Anantapur district, late Monday night.
Local authorities reported that the chariot, housed in the village's Ramalayam, was partially destroyed in the blaze. Upon learning of the incident, Anantapur district SP P. Jagadeesh arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu held discussions with officials to gather information and expressed his deep concern over the event. He has instructed authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and keep him informed on its progress, emphasizing the need for swift action to apprehend the culprits.
