NEW DELHI: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the class commencement schedule for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) alongside the round 2 seat allocation results for BTech admissions in 2024. The final round of JoSAA counselling for JEE Advanced-qualified candidates is set to conclude on July 26. Candidates can view the JoSAA round 2 seat allotment results for 2024 on the official website, josaa.nic.in.

Students who receive offers of admission to IITs must adhere to the specified deadline for reporting and registration set by the authorities. Subsequently, the IITs will conduct orientation sessions for new students before the start of classes.

According to the schedule, candidates selected in round 2 are required to upload necessary documents by July 1 to confirm their seats. Online reporting and fee payment should also be completed between June 27 and July 1. The results of round 3 JoSAA counselling for 2024 and the cut-offs for IITs and NITs will be announced on July 4 at 5 pm.

To check their admission status, candidates must enter their application number and password into the login portal.
