Special Funds Allocated for Road Development and Education in Tribal Villages of Andhra Pradesh

GUNTUR: Palnadu District Collector Arun Babu has announced the allocation of special funds for road development in tribal villages and the implementation of a special grievance day to address the issues faced by tribal communities in the district.
These announcements were made during an event held on World Tribal Day in Narasaraopet on Friday. Arun Babu highlighted the importance of World Tribal Day and noted that Palnadu district is home to over 1.44 lakh tribal people.
The district currently supports 11 tribal residential schools with 2,377 students, three ashram schools with 1,107 students, and three tribal colleges with 239 students. A dedicated action plan will be created to enhance basic amenities at these tribal schools.
During the event, Arun Babu also distributed AOFR site documents to 134 beneficiaries and instructed officials to ensure that every tribal child is enrolled in school. He encouraged parents to prioritize their children's education and emphasized that all eligible individuals should benefit from various welfare schemes designed for the upliftment of tribal communities.
