Banks serve people with trust. Banks do a lot of good to save the money of consumers.. to give loans. But if any mistakes are made by the employees working in it, those banks will get a bad name.
But the recent incident of an employee named Bhaskar who works in Canara Bank in Anantasagaram of Nellore district is causing a stir in that area. Generally people keep coming to banks for loans. The employee who relied on this revealed his perversion. He committed irregularities in the loans given to clients on gold jewellery.
Going into the details, around 130 customers have taken loans against gold jewelery from that bank. But Bhaskar gave less money to them and looted the remaining money illegally. The customers complained to the bank staff as they became suspicious of their money.
The bank staff found that Bhaskar had embezzled the money. Knowing this, the customers reached the bank in large numbers. They demanded that they give them their money and take action against Bhaskar. But in the past it was found that Bhaskar colluded with some clients and gave loans with fake gold.

ప్రజలకు నమ్మకంతో సేవలు చేసేవే బ్యాంకులు. వినియోగదారుల నగదు భద్రపరుచుకునేందుకు.. లోన్లు ఇచ్చేందుకు బ్యాంకులు ఎంతో మేలు చేస్తాయి. కాని అందులో పని చేసే ఉద్యోగులు ఏవైన తప్పులు చేస్తే ఆ బ్యాంకులకే చెడ్డ పేరు వస్తుంది. అయితే తాజాగా నెల్లూరు జిల్లా అనంతసాగరంలో కెనరా బ్యాంక్ లో పని చేసే భాస్కర్ అనే ఉద్యోగి చేసిన ఘటన ఆ ప్రాంతంలో కలకలం రేపుతోంది. సాధారణంగా బ్యాంకులకు రుణాల కోసం జనాలు వస్తూనే ఉంటారు. దీన్నే ఆసరాగా చేసుకున్న ఆ ఉద్యోగి తన వక్రబుద్దిని బయటపెట్టాడు. ఖాతాదారులకు బంగారు నగలపై ఇచ్చే రుణాల్లో అవకతవకలకు పాల్పడ్డాడు.
వివరాల్లోకి వెళ్తే దాదాపు 130 మంది ఖాతాదారులు ఆ బ్యాంకు నుంచి బంగారు నగలపై రుణాలు తీసుకున్నారు. అయితే భాస్కర్ వారిక తక్కువ డబ్బులు అందజేసి మిగతా సొమ్మును అక్రమంగా దోచుకున్నాడు. ఖాతాదారులకు తమ డబ్బులపై అనుమానం రావడంతో బ్యాంకు సిబ్బందికి ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు.
దీంతో భాస్కర్ ఆ డబ్బులను స్వాహా చేసినట్లు బ్యాంకు సిబ్బంది గుర్తించారు. ఈ విషయం తెలుసుకున్న ఖాతాదారులు బ్యాంకు వద్దకు భారీగా చేరుకున్నారు. తమ డబ్బులు తమకు ఇప్పించి భాస్కర్ పై చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. అయితే గతంలోను భాస్కర్ కొంతమంది ఖాతాదారులతో కుమ్మక్కై నకిలీ బంగారంతోను రుణాలు ఇచ్చినట్లు గుర్తించారు.
