Israel has said it has conducted one of its largest ever aerial bombardments in Gaza. A reported 900 Israelis and 687 Palestinians have been killed after Hamas attacked Israel over the weekend. Two journalists have been killed in an Israeli air attack on a residential building in Gaza. Israeli forces killed another 15 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. Hamas has warned it will start executing one Israeli captive for every new civilian house bombed without warning. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said that the airstrikes in Gaza were "just the beginning". Hezbollah said that it has fired rockets on areas in northern Israel, in response to the killing of four of its members from Israeli fire.
