A woman’s will power & determination make anything achievable for her. Settling down in a foreign country and building a successful career is indeed challenging. Sravya Koney, an Indian by birth. Her passions include classical music, singing & dancing. Throughout her life in India, she exhibited a strong passion for continuous learning & active personality. In this course at the age of 12, she participated in children’s educational program conducted by Doordarshan TV. she even commenced her modelling career at the age of 15, and engaged herself in numerous photo sessions for Eenadu Newspaper’s Vasundhara Page while sustaining this involvement for an impressive six continuous years. Actively anchored for sponsored programs in local cable TV channel. Post which while doing her post graduation she got married & secured employment in Hewlett-Packard - a multinational corporate office as a HR professional. Currently she is married with two kids, residing in Germany & proved to be a woman achiever, overcoming all the hurdles and choosing her path to excel in her Business in Digital Marketing.
Sravya Koney, a proud mother of two sons moved to Germany with her family ten years back. She is an active member of Indian association in Germany where her husband is a President & working towards the enhancement of cultural awareness about our nation. Despite residing far from her homeland, her passion for music motivates & takes her back home to participate every year Musical Guru Ramachary Sir’s LMA Global Musical Workshop. She had not experienced a life with ease & comfort in Germany. In spite of trying a lot to settle in a good job in Germany, she faced language barrier which made her drag into an immense disappointment & insanity, specifically the way you have been treated when you do not belong to that country. Every job in Germany demanded proficiency in the local language which became a great barrier to restart her HR career. However, Sravya Koney was not ready to give up her efforts for search. Ultimately, by embracing the challenge bestowed upon her instilled the resilience to acquire more knowledge, confront adversity & evolve herself as a confident individual.
She gradually took basic language classes to break the hurdles. But, the employment givers were looking for proficiency of language as she wanted to restart her career which needs more proficiency in connecting with people locally..each day brought forth a multitude of new adventures & new learnings for her..One day she got a thought to start something new of her own. In 2018, she started her own trading business partnering with her friend which was promoting creativity and also Indian handicrafts, ethnic wear, and architectural deco items along with Indian groceries. She had put her heart & soul into it to grow & let other country’s people understand the importance of Indian products. It was fun with lots of ups and downs while learning on how to deal with people. All of this was not possible without the immense support of her husband and family. Then all of a sudden as we knew the Pandemic hit us so hard which changed everyone’s dreams, where even we couldn’t bear the Brexit taxes and had to close our trading business with heavy hearts..
Her search for doing something for herself started again. What next had never let her sleep peacefully which lead her do all kinds of courses to update herself in the market. Thought of not being able to help her aged parents & husband financially was eating her every day as she is not someone who remains inactive or idle, consistently engaging in purposeful endeavours...
Finally in 2022, she came across a social media ad on Global Digital Business & decided to boldly take a step to look for a source of earning online. With her due diligence & faith over the system, she became an online business owner without being a trained business professional or technically knowledgeable in this field. However, she knew she will do it & her inner gut, her self confidence made her prepared for this Entreprenuer Journey.
When we believe we can, we are half way there. She believed in herself & her efforts to start the journey of Entrepreurship. Remember we are the only variable who are stopping our own growth, she never gave up on things & surroundings which never encouraged her to start this journey at the beginning. But she found Digital Marketing to be very creative & interesting field which made her skilled in this arena. She made an initial investment with the support of her husband and today she proudly accepts being called as ‘Hyderabadi Ladki’, who carries this business successfully in Digital Marketing in Germany.
Sravya Koney is a proud mother who is leaving her legacy & helping them achieve their dream life. She has proved that nothing is impossible for a woman if she is determined and perfectly balancing her household chores along with her prospering business. She feels fortunate to have been blessed with an extremely supportive husband Kiran Rao, mom Kamala Kumari & dad Hari Babu Koney.
She believes in never giving up. She is a dream catcher and opines that everyone should seize the opportunity that God provides them during their uncertainities and make it work to the fullest as she recognized that Digital marketing holds a significant potential for our future generations. She comprehends that any woman’s success will always contribute positively to the overall impact on their family.
