In this, the value of votes received by Murmu is 6,76,803.. and the value of votes received by Yashwant Sinha is 3,80,177. While Draupadi Murmu got 64.04 percent of the total votes cast, Yashwant Sinha managed only 35.97 percent.

Meanwhile, some of the votes of the parties that declared their support for Sinha were also lost. 17 MPs and 102 MLAs from opposition parties voted for her. It seems that tribal representatives from Assam, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat have engaged in cross voting. And BJP, which is in power in many states, got as many votes as it got in its own states in Andhra Pradesh, which has no real representation. Here, one hundred percent of the public representatives voted for Murmuke. Only in the small states of Nagaland and Sikkim did the BJP get 100 percent votes. In Telangana, Kerala, Punjab and Delhi, both the major parties voted against Murmu and the NDA got the least number of votes in those states. ఏపీలో వందశాతం ఓట్లు ముర్ముకే..
కాగా సిన్హాకు మద్దతు ప్రకటించిన పార్టీల ఓట్లు కొన్ని ముర్ముకు కూడా పడ్డాయి. ప్రతిపక్షపార్టీలకు చెందిన17 మంది ఎంపీలు, 102 మంది ఎమ్మెల్యేలు ఆమెకు ఓటేశారు. అసోం, ఛత్తీ్సగఢ్, జార్ఖండ్, మధ్యప్రదేశ్, మహారాష్ట్ర, గుజరాత్ల నుంచి గిరిజన ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు క్రాస్ ఓటింగ్కు పాల్పడినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఇక పలు రాష్ట్రాల్లో అధికారంలో ఉన్న బీజేపీకి సొంత రాష్ట్రాల్లో కూడా దక్కనన్ని ఓట్లు అసలు ప్రాతినిధ్యమే లేని ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లో దక్కాయి. ఇక్కడ వంద శాతం మంది ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు ముర్ముకే ఓటేశారు. చిన్న రాష్ట్రాలైన నాగాలాండ్, సిక్కింలలో మాత్రమే బీజేపీ వంద శాతం ఓట్లు దక్కించుకుంది. తెలంగాణ, కేరళ, పంజాబ్, ఢిల్లీల్లో ప్రధాన పార్టీలు రెండూ ముర్ముకు వ్యతిరేకంగా ఓట్లు వేయడంతో ఆ రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఎన్డీయేకు అతి తక్కువ ఓట్లు దక్కాయి. ముర్మును బీజేపీ రాష్ట్రపతి అభ్యర్థిగా నిలబెట్టడంతో ఎన్డీయే యూపీఏ కూటములకు దూరంగా ఉన్న బీజేడీ, వైసీపీ, అన్నాడీఎంకే, టీడీపీ, బీఎస్పీ, జేడీఎస్, అకాలీదళ్ మద్దతును కూడగట్టగలిగింది.
