Eight individuals have been arrested by Jubilee Hills police in Hyderabad for kidnapping the founder of a local data and financial consultancy firm and stealing items from his residence in Nandagiri Hills. The accused face charges of trespassing, confinement for extortion, and assault.
According to police reports, the victim, Ravichandra Reddy, founder of Gigleaz Private Limited, had not paid salaries to his staff for six months. The situation escalated when the accused forcibly entered the premises, assaulted Ravichandra and his friend Mohan, and stole 84 laptops, 18 mobile phones, and three passports.
