హైదరాబాద్ బంజారాహిల్స్ డీఏవీ పబ్లిక్ స్కూల్‌లో.. గతేడాది ఎల్‌కేజీ చదువుతున్న చిన్నారిపై డ్రైవర్ లైంగిక దాడి ఘటన కలకలం రేపిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఈ క్రమంలో డీఏవీ స్కూల్‌ ఘటనలో న్యాయస్థానం దోషికి శిక్ష ఖరారు చేసింది. ఐదేళ్ల బాలికపై లైంగిక వేధింపులకు పాల్పడిన రజినీకుమార్‌ కు నాంపల్లి ఫాస్ట్‌ట్రాక్ కోర్టు 20ఏళ్ల జైలు శిక్ష విధిస్తూ తీర్పును వెలువరించింది. గతేడాది అక్టోబర్ 17న ఈ ఘటన జరగగా.. 19న నిందితుడు రజనీకుమార్ ను పోలీసులు అరెస్ట్‌ చేశారు. రజినీకుమార్‌ ప్రిన్సిపాల్‌కి కారు డ్రైవర్‌గా పనిచేస్తూ.. ఈ ఘటనకు పాల్పడ్డాడు. కాగా, ఆరునెలల దర్యాప్తు, విచారణ తర్వాత కోర్టు దోషికి శిక్ష ఖరారు చేసింది.

బంజారాహిల్స్‌ రోడ్‌ నంబర్‌ 14లోని డీఏవీ స్కూల్‌.. అప్పటి ప్రిన్సిపాల్ మాధవి కారు డ్రైవర్ రజనీకుమార్‌ ఎల్కేజీ చదువుతున్న నాలుగున్నరేళ్ల బాలికపై రెండు నెలలుగా లైంగిక వేధింపులకు గురిచేయడంతో తల్లిదండ్రులు ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. కీచకుడు రజనీకుమార్ డీఏవీ పబ్లిక్ స్కూల్ ప్రిన్సిపాల్ మద్దతు పలకడంతో తల్లిదండ్రుల్లో కోపం కట్టలు తెంచుకుని ప్రిన్సిపాల్ ను సైతం చితకబాదారు. ఆ తర్వాత అసలు విషయం బయటకు రావడంతో రంగంలోకి దిగిన పోలీసులు.. కీచకుడు రజనీకుమార్ ను అరెస్ట్ చేశారు. ఆ తర్వాత స్కూల్ ప్రిన్సిపాల్‌ మాధవిని సైతం అరెస్ట్ చేశారు. స్కూల్ ను సైతం మూసివేశారు. అనంతరం విద్యార్థుల తల్లిదండ్రుల సూచనలతో తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం స్కూల్ కు పర్మీషన్ ఇచ్చింది. ఈ ఘటన అప్పట్లో సంచలనంగా మారింది.
