Revanth Reddy, the Telangana Congress Chief, addressed a meeting of the North America Telugu Association (TANA) in Hyderabad. He highlighted that the Congress party initiated the Polavaram Project and the construction of Amaravati, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh. He emphasized that completing these projects aligned with the core principles of Congress. NRIs raised thought-provoking questions, inquiring about the possibility of Dalits and Tribals becoming Chief Minister and if Seethakka would be considered for the position of Deputy Chief Minister if Congress wins in Telangana.
In response, Revanth stated that it is not customary to announce the Chief Ministerial candidate before elections. However, he affirmed that if required, Seethakka could also become the party's Chief Minister. He expressed his dedication to serving the people and requested the opportunity to contribute in the upcoming elections. Revanth sought the necessary support and cooperation to bring the party to power, emphasizing that viewing the party and himself separately would be inaccurate. He declared that in Telangana, Revanth Reddy is Congress, and Congress is Revanth Reddy.
