English Version: "ICAI Announces Major Update – CA Final Exams to be Conducted Thrice a Year!"
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has brought great news for CA students across the country. The institute has officially announced that CA Final Exams will now be conducted three times a year, starting from the 2025-26 academic session.
Previously, CA exams were conducted twice a year, but now ICAI has decided to align with global best practices to provide better opportunities for students. This decision will allow candidates to attempt the exams more frequently, reducing pressure and increasing their chances of success.
Key Highlights of ICAI’s Announcement:
✅ More Exam Attempts: Students will now have three chances a year to clear the CA Final exams.
✅ New Exam Schedule: The exams will be conducted in January, May, and September instead of just May and November.
✅ Reduced Exam Stress: Students can now complete their course without long waiting periods between attempts.
✅ Better Career Opportunities: The revised schedule enables students to complete the CA course faster, helping them enter the job market earlier.
ICAI had earlier announced a similar change for the CA Foundation and CA Intermediate exams, but it could not be implemented due to various reasons. However, this time, the institute has confirmed that the CA Final exams will also follow the same pattern.
Additionally, the Post-Qualification Course in Information Systems Audit will also undergo a transformation, and its assessment test will now be conducted three times a year instead of two. This will help students with backlogs to clear subjects on time and progress without delays.
This decision is expected to benefit thousands of CA aspirants by giving them more flexibility and opportunities to achieve their goals. Stay updated with more details on our website!
