AP Assembly Budget Session to Begin Tomorrow

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Budget Session is set to commence tomorrow, February 24. Ahead of the session, Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu held a review meeting this evening with officials to assess the preparations. Deputy Speaker Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, State Chief Secretary Vijay Anand, and Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta were also present at the meeting.

Guidelines for MLAs and Visitors

During the review, Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu emphasized that all MLAs should be present at the Assembly by 9:30 AM tomorrow. He stated that personal assistants (PAs) of MLAs would not be issued passes for the session. Additionally, he clarified that visitors coming to meet the Chief Minister would not be allowed into the Assembly premises.

Security and Infrastructure Review

The Speaker instructed the police to focus on strengthening security measures in and around the Assembly. As part of the preparations, he also inspected the media point and the newly constructed canteen within the Assembly premises.
