Starting from April 1, 2023, government employees in the Mepma and SERP sectors will be placed under the purview of the revised pay scales. According to the current government directives, employees engaged in work under SERP will be brought under the revised pay scales starting April 1, 2023.

 The state government is also extending these revised pay scales to employees who are currently receiving lower wages. SERP employees will now receive stable salaries, along with other allowances for security. Additionally, employees of Mepma are now officially registered as society workers and entitled to the benefits, including ESIs and PF contributions.

Moreover, the government has clarified that no salary cuts or layoffs have been implemented, and the security of the employees has been ensured. The government has taken these steps to maintain the status of these employees as government workers, whether regular, contract, or outsourcing, following the permissions granted earlier.

In relation to the Mepma sector, employees engaged in work under Mepma are now receiving revised pay scales that are in line with the category of government employees.

 Various positions such as State Mission Director for Municipal Commissioners (Grade-2), District Mission Coordinator for District Mission Coordinators, Senior Assistant for M&ES Managers, Office Subordinates for Office Subordinate Coordinators, and other positions are now covered by the state government's revised pay scales.
