The Andhra Pradesh government has been hit in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court bench made it clear that it cannot interfere in the case of Jeeves No. 1. The court said that it cannot interfere in the present situation in the case of JVO No. 1 brought by the AP government. In Andhra Pradesh, a hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Jio No. 1 brought by the government canceling meetings, roadshows and meetings on the roads. However, the Supreme Court has made it clear that it cannot interfere with the High Court judgment at present.
CPI state secretary Ramakrishna approached the AP High Court on this issue. It is alleged that this organism exists to deprive the freedom of expression. The High Court heard Ramakrishna's petition and passed an interim order suspending Jivo till January 23. The next hearing was adjourned to January 23. But, the government is not backing down in the case of Jivo. According to the government, the warrant was issued under the Police Act, 1861. Referring to Guntur and Kandukur incident, it said that Jivo was issued to save the lives of the people so that they do not suffer. Jivolo said that strict action will be taken if the rules are violated.
