Raja Yona Honored with Kalaratna Award for Promoting Telugu Language and Culture Globally

VIJAYAWADA: Addanki Raja Yona, founder of the Philanthropic Society of India, Rajamahendravaram, has been awarded the prestigious Kalaratna National Award by Haryana State Governor Bandaru Dattatreya. The ceremony took place at the Governor’s residence in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Raja Yona was recognized for his outstanding contributions to promoting Telugu language, culture, and traditions both nationally and internationally. The award was presented under the auspices of the Indo-Canadian Youth Council.
Since 2016, Raja Yona has been instrumental in encouraging talented individuals and organizing various programs related to the Telugu language, culture, and social and literary activities through his organization. 
During the award ceremony, Raja Yona expressed his gratitude to Royyuru Sesha Sai, the founder of the Indo-Canadian Youth Council, for selecting him for the honor. He received a memento, medal, and certificate of appreciation. “I view this award as a recognition of my dedicated efforts,” Raja Yona said.
