VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu traveled to Delhi on Friday evening to attend the NITI Aayog meeting scheduled for Saturday, which will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At the meeting, Naidu plans to present a proposal for the construction of a new diaphragm wall for the Polavaram Irrigation Project.
Earlier in the day, Naidu met with New Development Bank Director-General DJ Pandian at the State Secretariat. During their discussion, they explored potential collaborations and financial assistance for several key projects. Topics included support for the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) in building Amaravati, enhancing rural road connectivity, and joint ventures in major initiatives such as port development and green energy projects.
